Summary

The Cook Islands Rugby League & Youth Development QLD (CIRLYD) unites our community across 15 islands, founded in 2013 to promote unity through rugby league.

As members of QPICC, we’ve contributed to Queensland’s annual Rugby League event since its inception, emphasizing Pacific Island heritage with games that embody Unity and Respect.

Our involvement has expanded with age groups from U8’s to U18’s for both boys and girls, including an Open Men’s and Women’s. We have successfuly competed at the Raro 9’s in the Cook Islands.

CIRLYD thrives thanks to dedicated volunteers who organize fundraisers and social initiatives critical to our program’s success.

Our participants have grown into roles in management, coaching, and administration, strengthening our organizational structure and impact.
